How do you define teaching? What is teaching? In my opinion, teaching is an EXCHANGE, an exchange of ideas and concepts. It is two or more people coming TOGETHER to work towards achieving a common goal. It could be anything. A baby doesn't learn to walk without assistance from a guide; a child doesn't learn how to tie their shoe without a guide; a teenager doesn't learn how to read without a guide; an adult doesn't learn how to speak a foreign language without a guide. I AM your GUIDE, ready and willing to HELP you reach a higher level in your ability to SPEAK, READ, WRITE, and COMPREHEND English. When the student has successfully mastered a concept, teaching has occurred.
