I believe first and foremost that students should be comfortable in class with the teacher be that online or in person. I fashion my lessons after the needs of each individual student. 

If a student is struggling then I do a rework on the lesson plan until the student is comfortable with the lesson coursework as to be able to learn 

I continue with my own studies in my spare time as to be able to give my students more well rounded lessons in the future.
