As a mother, I understand every child is unique and has different learning abilities. So, I like to tailor my classes depending on my student’s needs. For young learners, I like using props like toys, puppets, flash cards etc. For older children, I always involve some writing because that enhances learning. In my Math classes, I always emphasize on learning the basics clearly and making a strong foundation. I encourage a two way communication between the teacher and the student. 

I assess a student’s learning based on direct measures. As an experienced teacher, I firmly believe in the power of assigning and checking homework. A great revision of the concepts learnt in class can be achieved, if the teacher is checking homework regularly. Besides homework, I analyze learning based on worksheets, quizzes, and tests. 

Professionally, as a teacher I wish to own my own e-library. I want to encourage students to learn by reading. I also wish to obtain a certificate in teaching specially abled students.
